Aaanndd.. More Piano!

I know I post constantly about piano- and if music isn't your thing, I apologize profusely.
But for me? Music is my everything.
That's not to say that music is the only thing that I do- but music gives me something to channel my emotions, is something to pump me up (or just lose myself in), and is a great form of expression (Sorry for that lame cliché- it's true!).

Well, thanks to the urgings of Christina and Alex,
I've decided to post a little video of last year's Spring Recital:

I realize it isn't perfect- yes, I have that nightmare-to-any-performer, stage fright!

Oh, and-while I would love feedback or constructive criticism- I'm not a professional! I do make mistakes, and I definitely have feelings (that are quite easily hurt)- remember that I'm only 16!

I hope you enjoy!

PS- the songs are Chopin's Etude Op.10 No.12 (0:00), and Sviridov's Little Rain (3:37).

Hi! thanks for your comment! I have to say that you are very, very talented. I play the piano as well and I really love it, but I can't play half as well as you do, and I've been playing since I was 5. And what mistakes? This was perfect. =)I do understand about stage fright though--I play for my church and I still get nervous. I'm perfectly comfortable at home playing, but something strange happens when I perform in front of other people. Anyway, great job!! 5 stars.

and I just read you are only 16-- and you play like a professional pianist. that's amazing!!!

Allison that was astounding! I'm seriously sitting here in shock! You have some serious talent. And I love how at the end you just get up and bound off all adorably as though what you just did wasn't remarkable and genius or anything.

I <3 you big time.

You are my favorite new music talent of, well, ever! I've never known anyone who was this good at playing the piano, so I am in awe!

I just wondered - do you play 'modern' pieces too? Because we had a guy last year in our reception who started playing Adele and some other popular songs (and yes, we have a piano at our campsite, in the reception, cause we're legit ;) ) and it was sooo beautiful!

Love your talented face!

I'm so impressed by your musical ability, and that you have stuck with it this long. Seriously, keep with it. It comes in handy when you're older. I wish now that I had kept playing the violin, but I quit before high school. Sad times, but learn from my mistake. haha :)
