Once Upon a Time...

You remember when we were all really little, and we just played all day, and sang nonsense songs, and built forts, and made up stories?
Sometimes I forget how creative children can be- but Capucine, a little girl in France, shows us how easy it is to just imagine!

I don't know about you, but the fact that she's speaking in French makes it all the more impressive. (Yes, I know she's a native speaker, but STILL. I'm taking French, and it's hard sometimes!)

What did you do when you were young?

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

This past weekend, I went to my very second San Francisco Giants game! The last time I had seen them, I was in preschool and too young to appreciate that goodness that is the "all-American pastime".
Plus, we got to see the AT&T "Home of the Giants" Park for the first time- and let me tell you- that thing is HUUGGEE.

It had over three stories, and we climbed loads and loads of steps (okay, maybe just 4 flights) to get to our seats.

The food was greasy and fried and delicious, although it cost an arm and a leg for this meal and a drink. But hey, how else are they gonna make money at the park? I can't ever imagine...

One of my favoritest things about the park was the awesome sculptures they had behind left field. The mitt was beautifully made, and the Coca-Cola bottle was actually a slide that people could stand in line for (you can see the crowd around the bottom of the bottle) and take a ride! The boys went crazy for that one.

And the game.
To tell you the truth, the game was interesting... but it is baseball. I'm not hatin' on the sport (I played it for a few years myself!) but it's more about the experience at the park and the atmosphere than the actual game.

We did win though, so we left the victors of the game!

PS: I'm probably killing all you non-Californians out here with this Giants talk, so what is YOUR favorite baseball team?

Babies by Thomas Balmes

So, I really like babies.
I think there have been, like, a gazillion posts on here about babies- babies laughing, pictures of babies... it may seem creepy, but it's not!

, For all you baby lovers out there, Focus Features is making (or has made?) a movie entirely about babies. It documents a year in the life of 4 different-nationality babies. One from California, one from Mongolia, one from Japan, and one from Namibia.
And it looks ah-dorable.

I can't help laughing over the "Charlie Bit my Finger" style beginning of this trailer... all the way to the goat tipping over the bath water.
So cute.

Summer is a Comin'

I don't know when's the last time I posted. Seriously. (Well, I could technically look at my post list... but I'm too lazy.)
I've been a BAD BAD blogger.
Seeing how school has been so stressful and studying has been so time consuming, I'm making this a quick post.

I've lately been so enamored with vintage things, swimsuits especially!
I love how they could be modest (as modest as a swimsuit can be) and still be so stylish and classy! And besides- this engagement shoot is just adorable!

I am now on a quest for a vintage-like suit, as silly as that may seem.
So far, I've found this swimsuit at Delia's and think it's pretty close! (I might even try and add a white bow on the knot)

What do YOU think about swimsuits?
